«МЛАЭ-2015. 5000 километров вдоль Родины»
Фильм о прибрежной части экспедиции 2015-го года.
Выехав 4-го апреля 2015-го года из Чукотского посёлка Энурмино, команда из 6-ти человек на 2-х автомобилях «Емеля» прошла по большей части Северного Морского Пути. Чукотка, Якутия, Красноярский край. Встречи с интересными людьми. Уникальные места, посёлки, полярные станции, зимники, следы прошлого и, конечно экспедиционные будни.
6-го мая 2015 года, въехав в Дудинку, экспедиция завершила Арктическую кругосветку.

Professor Jim Al-Khalili traces the story of arguably the most important, accurate and yet perplexing scientific theory ever — quantum physics.

The story starts at the beginning of the 20th century with scientists trying to better understand how light bulbs work. This simple question led them deep into the hidden workings of matter, into the sub-atomic building blocks of the world around us. Here they discovered phenomena unlike any encountered before — a realm where things can be in many places at once, where chance and probability call the shots and where reality appears to only truly exist when we observe it.

Albert Einstein hated the idea that nature, at its most fundamental level, is governed by chance. Jim reveals how, in the 1930s, Einstein thought he had found a fatal flaw in quantum physics, because it implies that sub-atomic particles can communicate faster than light in defiance of the theory of relativity.

For 30 years, his ideas were ignored. Then, in the 1960s, a brilliant scientist from Northern Ireland called John Bell showed there was a way to test if Einstein was right and quantum mechanics was actually mistaken. In a laboratory in Oxford, Jim repeats this critical experiment. Does reality really exist or do we conjure it into existence by the act of observation?

Leonardos famous painting «The Last Supper» hides a secret: only 20 percent of the original work is still visible.

In the style of a thriller, the documentary attempts to reconstruct what it originally looked like. Leonardo da Vinci was the epitome of the Renaissance Man. May 2019 marks the 500th anniversary of his death. The artist created world-famous works such as the fresco «The Last Supper» — perhaps the most famous. It is still in its original setting, on the wall of the dining room of the former Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. The painting, which is 4.60 meters high and 8.80 meters wide, has been undergoing restoration for the last 19 years. But the restorers now know that only 20 percent of the original is visible today. So what did something that is the focus of so many legends originally look like? Our investigation also takes us to the small Belgian abbey of Tongerlo, where a mysterious copy of da Vincis work has been discovered. It is a painting on canvas that could have been commissioned from da Vinci’s workshop by the French King Louis XII. It has perhaps brought the researchers a step closer to the truth.
